608 Bellevue Avenue is the location of the Finn House, a historical house here in Dublin. This beautiful house was constructed by Mr. Finn, a prominent banker in Dublin, back in 1904. Over they years, this immaculate house was the primary residence of only 2 families and then used as an office. This is one of the reasons it’s in such amazing condition! Just take a look at some pictures for proof:
The whitewash on the walls have been scraped away to reveal what is believed to be the original color of this house. There was a lot of excitement on Bellevue when the painting commenced!
Pictures on here won’t do this house justice though. That’s why were going to have an open house on Sunday, February 25th, from 2pm-4pm. We want to invite everyone to come on out, take a look around at one of Dublin’s historic homes, and learn a little more about the history behind one of your hometown’s historic homes.

My dad’s twin sister lived in this house….nice job….The Williamsburg chandeliers in the living and dining rooms are not Queen Anne —not quite appropriate design for the era…Even so, the restoration is stunning…Now buy the brick building next door and tear it down….Thanks for saving this historic aspect of Dublin….
